Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Meril Endo-Surgery Campania

Role Overview
This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead and grow Meril's Endo-Surgery business, in Campania region to help patients benefit from innovative reconstructive therapies that significantly improve their quality of life.
The purpose of the Area Sales Manager (ASM) role is to guide Meril strategy into the region, to improve the go to market model and support distributors to promote and sell Meril Endo-Surgery products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), such as surgeons and hospitals. The Area Sales Manager is the primary company role to increase product and brand awareness and improve sales performance within the assigned territory leveraging on the full organization.
The ASM is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, providing product information and presentations, monitoring competitor activity, and achieving defined sales goals.
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) position is a field sales role for the Meril Endo-Surgery portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance and Territory Management:
Lead field sales and business development within the assigned territory, manage territory performance, and achieve defined revenue, growth, and quality objectives.
Go-to-Market Strategy and Business Development:
Develop and execute go-to-market initiatives to increase product penetration, achieve sustainable growth, identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with the commercial strategy and leveraging with all marketing tools.
Serve as primary point of contact for distributor's organization
Management of Key Customer and Stakeholder Relationships:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clinical and procurement stakeholders, building and maintaining long-term, value-based customer relationships.
Clinical Expertise, Training, and Professional Education:
Provide clinical and technical support during product introduction and intraoperative use, and deliver targeted product training, workshops, and professional development programs.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Ethical Practices:
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, tender department, customer service, logistic) to ensure efficient customer supportand order management.
Act in full compliance with ethical standards, company policies, and local regulations.
Your Profile
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
Over 5 years of successful experience in medical device sales or hospital settings
Tender management experience
Strong clinical and technical knowledge
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Highly motivated, structured, and results-oriented with a proven track record
Available to travel; residency in the local area is required.
Endosurgery experience and Fluent in English is a strong advantage
