IQM Selezione, a recruiting company operating in Italy, is seeking an experienced:
Junior Technical Sales Manager - Polymers and Additives
to join one of Japan’s largest trading companies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve country sales and profit margin targets.
* Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales.
* Manage and optimize current business accounts.
* Define, develop, and build new business accounts.
* Communicate with suppliers and buyers, responding to inquiries.
* Identify and deliver new business opportunities.
* Represent the company at meetings and exhibitions.
* Report monthly sales performance to management.
* Report on market trends in the country.
Ideal Profile:
* Technical education with strong commercial understanding.
* Preferably a degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Sciences, or similar fields.
* 3-5 years of experience in international chemical industry companies, focusing on polymers in Italy.
* Good technical knowledge of chemicals, materials, and tools; familiarity with engineering plastics, high-performance materials, thermoplastic elastomers for applications like automotive and medical sectors.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
* Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally (about 50%).

* Workplace: Milan, with travel availability. Company car provided.
