Responsibilities include: Planning sales strategy and maintaining an ongoing plan to prioritize the portfolio of accounts and relationships. Interfacing with customers to promote and sell UL products and services. Using technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence. Driving the sales process from beginning to end, leveraging support from Sales Support Specialists and Inside Sales Executives. Proactively managing customers to ensure renewal of services where applicable. Exploring and developing opportunities to sell specialty products/services. Establishing strong connections with new logo prospects from inbound and outbound channels to qualify needs, understand decision-makers, and land new customers. Engaging in discovery, opportunity identification, proposals, and closing sales. Leveraging technical support (engineers) when the customer has a qualified need. Creating a pipeline of new logo prospects to supplement existing account activities, owning the process through close of sale. Bringing in additional resources when advantageous and delegating leadership of the sale to Technical Inside Sales Executives for highly technical or specialized products/services. Transitioning implementation to success/fulfillment teams after sales to ensure seamless service delivery. Supporting the development of GAM and SAM multi-year account plans in TIC by providing insight on specific product/service areas. Acting on opportunities to sell specialty products/services and working with account managers on discovery and opportunity identification. Working under minimal guidance of account managers to work seamlessly with customers throughout the sales cycle. Providing expert input during account planning on potential growth opportunities within the assigned solution area. Qualifications include a Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in engineering or related field (preferred), proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, relevant technical capabilities, 6 years of related sales experience, deep knowledge of TIC portfolio specialty products/services, proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets, and strong business acumen.
