To be successful in this role, you will need experience of natural gas markets and a thorough understanding of gas fundamentals, logistics and the wider energy market complex.We are looking for a new team member who is ambitious, structured, focused and a motivated team player.To do list (what you will do):Develop and implement profitable trading strategiesWork with the algorithmic and systematic trading teamExecute trades day ahead and along the curveIdentify and research ways to improve existing trading strategiesMaximise PL with compliance frameworkManage VaR limit assigned by Head of TradingSuggest data analysis to internal analyst team to generate profitable trading strategiesRequired experience (also known as hard skills):At least 2 or 4 years’ experience in EU Markets gas trading or cross-commodity tradingProven track record in gas tradingStrong business acumen combined with entrepreneurial flairStrong personal interest in financial markets, trading and optionsMaster’s Degree in Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Economics and Finance (or scientific disciplines)Good knowledge of the English languageNice to have: IT skills like Python, C#, R, VBASoft Skills (our favourites!):Excellent communication and collaborative skillsAbility to make quick decisions under pressureStrong analytical and quantitative skillsProactive approach to overcome challengesAble to work well under pressureResults-oriented and able to manage prioritiesGood attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organisational and work planning skillsWilling to work in a teamWhat to expect:A contractual framework tailored to you, taking into account your experience and skillsA young and dynamic working environmentA set of goods and services to support you at work and at homeCultural, sporting and value-based initiatives and events dedicated to you;
