Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in the global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Purpose Of The Job
We seek motivated, customer-focused individuals to join us as Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Managers. You will oversee a team of engineering technicians, focusing on safety through training and coaching, and ensuring high equipment availability via preventive maintenance and adherence to processes.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and mentor your team to work safely, efficiently, and according to standards.
* Collaborate with the team and network to develop technical solutions.
* Support safety and compliance programs in coordination with Site Safety and Leadership.
* Implement network standards and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment availability.
* Organize training to ensure technical coverage during shifts.
* Manage local projects or support EU-level projects as assigned.
* Work on shifts as needed to stay connected with the team and daily operations.
Basic Qualifications
* Significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles.
* Multiskilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
* Experience with automated equipment, packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
* Proficient in English and local language (CEFR Level B2 or higher).
* Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.
* Strong computer skills (MS Office, CAD).
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of specialized engineering and facilities equipment within Fulfillment Centers.
* Experience with PLC control systems.
* Project management experience.
* Familiarity with CMMS software.
* Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement processes.
