The Role
Join us as a Sales Manager and lead complex, multi‑tower, multi‑million deals. You will drive end‑to‑end sales activities—from qualification to closure—shaping opportunities, crafting compelling propositions, and negotiating with CxOs and other senior decision makers.
Responsibilities
* Lead deals from qualification to closure for Core and Strategic accounts.
* Create unique, compelling propositions tailored to market demands and customer requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather documents and technical solutions for bid submissions.
* Define winning propositions and lead end‑to‑end responses for complex deals.
* Lead contract negotiations to achieve the best outcome for the organization and its clients.
* Serve as the bridge between internal teams and customer organizations throughout the deal process.
* Compile, refine, and own final proposal documents, presenting technical content professionally.
* Establish robust reporting and governance processes to monitor deal success.
* Standardize pitches across diverse industries to support business growth.
* Manage the assigned customer set and prospect development, building relationships with senior figures.
* Identify and address manifest and latent needs in the production and distribution of goods sectors.
* Manage commercial negotiations and the end‑to‑end sales cycle, ensuring adherence to company standards.
* Use company information tools to transparently report ongoing negotiations.
* Propose evolutions of the company’s offering to improve services and foster innovation.
Requirements
* High School Diploma and/or degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or similar.
* At least 5 years of experience selling IT services, particularly with EDI.
* Knowledge of manufacturing, large‑scale distribution, and retail sectors.
* Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) positively valued.
* Excellent knowledge of English (minimum B2, C1 recommended).
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decision makers.
* Strong entrepreneurial skills and clear, fair communication.
* Experience managing complex, high‑stakes negotiations.
* Resident in the Triveneto / Emilia Romagna / East Lombardy area.
