City Lead-Quick Commerce, GSF Last MileAmazon Now is seeking an operations leader to support cluster-level operational indexing and performance tracking in a city. This role involves monitoring key operational metrics across dark stores, managing data accuracy for operational dashboards, and supporting the team in maintaining visibility into network health and performance. Managing 3P partners and driving standardization/improvement is a key requirement of the role.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack and index operational metrics including count compliance, fulfillment times, inventory accuracy, and delivery performance across city networksMaintain data integrity for operational dashboards and reporting systems used by leadership teamsSupport root cause analysis for operational defects and SLA breachesCoordinate with store operations teams to ensure timely data updates and metric accuracyAssist in identifying trends and patterns in operational performance to support continuous improvement initiativesArea Manager ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives of Amazon Fresh Fulfillment CenterManage and lead a team of Team Leads, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment CenterDrive creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change/Six Sigma initiatives to enable their Functional Area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed Business PlanSets / clarifies requirements and expectations for Area ManagersMeasures performance, provides feedback, and holds Team leads accountable for their performance and the performance of their departmentsTakes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the networkWorks closely with support staff (HR Manager, Financial Manager, Facilities Manager, S&LP Manager, and Other Ops. Managers, IT Manager) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in his/her area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiativesAble to address operational and personnel issues affecting functional areaSurface issues with potential to affect multiple functional areas, along with ideas for solutions, to Sr. Ops, General Manager and / or HRFour key areas that you'll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your departmentReview the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectivesPartner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goalsSupport all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associatesProactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean toolsBasic Qualifications2+ years of employee and performance management experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experienceWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysPreferred Qualifications1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
