We are a leading provider of food analytics solutions, trusted by the world's largest companies across food, agriculture, wine, and beer. We are expanding into new markets and continuously introduce innovative instruments and solutions.

What you will be doing

As Sales Account (preferably residing in Lazio or Campania regions) you will be responsible for the sale of FOSS solutions in your assigned area, supported by internal product application specialist. The main segments of interest will be Grain & Milling, Oil, Feed & Forage, and Milk & Dairy. In addition to instrument sales, you will also be responsible for selling FOSS SmartCare & FossCare support agreements at the point of instrument sale. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will work closely with other colleagues to maintain and grow market share.

Key responsibilities
* Drive sales growth and achieve budget targets
* Track customer activities, quotation, and opportunities through CRM Salesforce system
* Extensive travel across the territory to visit prospects and acquired customers
* Build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunity
* Promote FOSS products, services and digital solutions
* Develop sales strategies for market segments in conjunction with the Sales Director
What we hope to see you bring

We are looking for a motivated professional who combines strong commercial understanding with excellent customer engagement skills.

* 2–5 years' experience in a sales role in a business-to-business capital equipment sales environment – experience in driving revenue in technical products/instruments in the Food/Agricultural/Feed/Meat/Grain industries is strongly preferred
* Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Food Science, Life Sciences, General Sciences (or similar)
* Knowledge of NIR, FTIR, flow cytometry technologies would be an advantage, including a good track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue projections
* Experience in Value Based Selling (benefits and profit enhancement proposition)
* Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
* Proactive mindset with focus on customer satisfaction and business growth
