Job Title: Industrial Quality Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Ensure Product Quality compliance according to Customer & Internal specifications.
Deploy Industrial Quality Standards in manufacturing to improve IQ Performance (CoNQ reduction) and support Alstom Zero-Defect Program.
Reports directly to: Site Industrial Quality Manager
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Accountability & Authorities
* Participate in Process FMEA definition.
* Manage Quality Control Plans with REX from previous projects execution.
* Manage Quality Dynamic Checklists (Self Inspection and Final Inspection checklists).
* Participate in the FMR (First Mounting Review) to validate first product assembly before serial production.
* Support Manufacturing shopfloors (Mechanical & Electronic) in daily production activities (attend manufacturing meetings, witness production testing activities, perform training to operators,…).
* Manage internal defects and NCs to ensure consistent accurate and on-time completion and secure production lines and customer deliveries.
* Support Projects in Customer NCs management.
* Collect and monitor Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ).
* Foster the Zero Defect program/culture in the factory.
* Perform Line Quality Animation with cross function team.
* Perform WSA (workstation audit) and follow-up according to defined plan.
* Participate in Customer Inspections.
* Monitor Industrial Quality KPIs.
* Contribute to Site Quality Continuous Improvement Program.
* Supplier’s waiver requests management.
* Supplier's NCR management:1) secure in a timely manner strong and complete supplier containment actions plan to secure the Manufacturing line; 2) check the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan of the supplier (ask for evidences, challenge them, and perform supplier’s visit do supplier’ visit).
* Reviews with suppliers and visit suppliers’ premises as necessary.
Educational Requirements/Experience
> 3 years experiences in Industrial environment (lean context).
Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
Industrial Quality processes knowledge.
Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
* Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schemes.
* Knowledge on manufacturing special/critical processes (crimping, tightening torque,...)
* Knowledge of Railway Operations and Signaling principles (preferred)
* Good Italian Proficiency (both spoken and written), B2 minimum.
* Good English Proficiency (both spoken and written), B2 minimum.
* Goal-oriented, flexible, reliable, dynamic, resolute.
* Analytical approach and logical mindset.
* Leadership.
* Resilience.
* Ability to relate and communicate to all levels.
* Attitude to operate within international and multicultural context.
* Ability to work in a matrix organization.
