Ph3Overview /h3pICQA ISS Area Manager, Inventory Control and Quality Assurance role overseeing Inventory Control (IC) and Inbound Support Services (ISS) within a Fulfillment Center. The position focuses on maintaining accuracy, quality of service, and safe, efficient operations across inventory control and QA activities to support customer expectations. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliManaging the site-based Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team /liliMaintaining Health and Safety standards within your sphere of influence and promoting a positive Health and Safety culture on-site /liliMonitoring KPIs regarding accuracy and integrity of Quality and Inventory transactions; providing feedback to Operations where necessary /liliReviewing and analyzing customer defect data, and developing action plans to reduce and eliminate causes of issues /liliDeveloping and executing action plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to increase quality, inventory accuracy, and service satisfaction /liliPartnering with Management to communicate Inventory Control and Quality Assurance policies and procedures and monitor compliance in the Fulfillment Center /liliCarrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Amazon’s policies and procedures, including:ulliInterviewing and training exempt and non-exempt employees /liliSetting and meeting operational goals /liliPlanning and forecasting /liliAssigning and directing work and employee deliverables /liliPerformance appraisal of team members /liliRewarding and disciplining employees where appropriate /li /ul /liliBuilding understanding of Fulfillment Center inventory systems and processes, and providing assistance for problem-solving /liliActing as the primary link between Corporate Retail teams and Fulfillment Center Operations /liliInvestigating, managing, and re-escalating Retail, Vendor, and Catalog tickets to resolve receiving and inventory issues /liliSupporting the resolution of problem items that cannot be received under standard receiving conditions /liliCommunicating clearly with associates and leaders to provide instructions, updates, and escalation status /liliMaintaining safe, organized work areas while supporting consistent operational performance and customer experience /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification /liliDemonstrated solid proficiency in time management and in organizing large amounts of data /liliResilient, focused problem solver and self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a complex environment /liliProven ability to influence, with varying levels of seniority within an organization /liliPrevious experience in inventory placement and optimization /liliFluent user of the MS Office suite, especially Excel; MS Access experience is a plus /liliExcellent verbal and written communications skills in the local language and English /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulli2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for tracking, reporting, and analysis /liliExperience working in a Fulfillment Center, Receiving, ICQA, or Operations support function /liliStrong analytical abilities with experience in inventory analysis and topography optimization /liliExpert in data mining and data preparation, with the ability to turn large data sets into actionable insights /liliAbility to quickly learn and apply new software systems and data analysis tools /liliExperience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement techniques /liliStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution /liliEffective communicator able to work cross-functionally with associates, managers, and corporate stakeholders /liliComfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with competing priorities /li /ulh3Accommodations and Culture /h3pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
