PThe Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining sales for existing customers as well as generating new markets for Kubota engines. This position is the "window" and direct link for all activities and communication between distributors, customers and Kubota. /ppbDuties and Responsibilities /b /ppKubota is a leading manufacturer of industrial engines with a reputation for quality and performance. Our business is B to B (Business to Business). We do not sell finished products to end users. Most of the time, requests come from existing customers or potential new customers due to the high reputation of Kubota engines and the characteristics of long-term projects planned by customers (budget planning). Taking care of existing customers increases sales and market share. This creates new business opportunities with potential new customers. This is the cycle of our business. Our customers are manufacturers of industrial machinery. In particular, we communicate with customers' purchasing and engineering departments. /pulliCommunicate with your counterpart in the Sales and Marketing department at Kubota headquarters (Japan) to manage projects (project development, quotation, adoption of engine specifications, production, delivery... etc.). /liliCoordinate projects with Kubota's engineering process followed by Kubota's engineering team. /liliPrepare and maintain a travel schedule that demonstrates commitment to the assigned territory and schedule routine visits with customers. /liliMonitor market trends and needs, analyze data to advise or recommend solutions using knowledge of theory, principles and technology. /liliCoordinate and monitor the status of deliveries between Kubota Japan and Kubota Europe. /liliPlan business travel within Kubota Europe and to Kubota headquarters. /li /ulpbKnowledge, skills and professional aptitudes /b /pliYou're keen to learn and build up knowledge about our products. /liliMaintain good relationships with stakeholders. /liliApproach customers and counterparts in Japan with enthusiasm. /liliAnalyse our market positioning and put forward your ideas for developing our business. /liliProfessional level of written and spoken English is required. /liliCustomer visit reports and monthly sales reports in English are compulsory. /lipbEducation and experience /b /pliAssociate's degree in a relevant field or significant experience in a variety of roles. /liliAt least 5 years' experience in selling industrial products. /lipbOther /b /pliAbility to drive a car and travel by air. /liliTeleworking is permitted twice a week, except during the training period. /li #J-18808-Ljbffr
