As a Global Product Specialist your responsibility will be to define, plan and ensure implementation of product and solutions strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives in agreement with the global product strategy of product Group Energy distribution. This position reports to: Global Product Manager Your responsibilities: - Work in collaboration with other Global Product Managers to define and implement the digital strategy for energy distribution offering to optimize customer satisfaction and enhance the product/solutions/service portfolio. - Manage the digital solutions from both a technical and a business perspective, establish an international network, and represent the voice of the customer within the organization - Perform in-depth market analysis for identifying customer requirements, value proposition, tracking global trends, and unlocking new opportunities for ABB - Acting as interface between external global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D, SCM etc. - Translate customer needs into technical specifications and take the lead within the product/solutions development - Champion new solutions based on extensive market analysis, clarify positioning within the portfolio, and ensure that different segments are suitably covered. Owning the technical and market specifications for the digital solutions and determining business plans that ensure sustainable growth - Take ownership of market communication, including preparation of marketing collateral and professional support for new product rollouts. - Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as positioning and launch of new solution,, partnership and collaboration with key external stakeholders. - Proactively interact with internal sales and marketing organizations to promote the digital solution offering. - Manage the full Life cycle of respective product portfolio. Your background: - Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering, Information technology, Digital Businessor relevant discipline. - 2 years’ experience in Product Management or Product Marketing. - Possess a strong background of energy management digital solutions, system architectures, IoT & cloud technologies. A previous experience in an IT/IoT company or digital startup is a plus. - Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English - Highly motivated and results oriented, possessing the ability to proactively drive initiatives with an entrepreneurial mindset; Inclination to innovation to translate market trends into future portfolio and technical requirements; Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Lean) and associated DevOps tooling - Teamwork and effectiveness in an international working environment; Strong analysis and problem-solving skills; Strong motivation to achieve targets through independent working approach; Readiness for travels: domestic and international travels More about us:
