Restaurant Management Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a restaurant team. As our new Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for providing the necessary support to ensure a memorable and enjoyable overall guest experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure all resources are available to staff to enable them to perform their tasks in a proper and timely manner.
* Be a big part of managing our new F&B experience, which is in the process of being upgraded.
* Take part in the service - informing guests of the menu, assisting with drink and dinner choices, taking orders, communicating with kitchen, preparing drinks & simple snacks and serving of dishes.
* Monitor accurate execution of HACCP guidelines, fire safety policy and working conditions.
* Being part of and working closely together with the management team.
* Bring forward innovations and improvements in (amongst else, but not exclusively) menu design, restaurant set-up, team organisation, etc.
* Monitor costs suppliers - identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
* Responsible for recruitment and proper onboarding of temporary and permanent staff.
* You'll guide the team with on the job training, making service more efficient, and be the face of the restaurant.
* Scheduling of staff according to business and staff needs - including review and approval/denial of leave requests.
* Responsible for proper Performance Management of all restaurant staff - including goal setting, mid-year & year-end review conversations.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a managerial role at a similar level restaurant.
* Strong knowledge of drinks and food according to market standards.
* You're a people person who loves connecting with guests from all walks of life.
* You're a true problem-solver and are not afraid to make decisions in the moment.
* Excellent knowledge of restaurant service standards.
* You're fluent in English - Know other languages? The more the merrier.
* You're legally allowed to work in Italy.
