We are looking for a Presales Engineer to join our team in Treviso, Italy.
Responsibilities:
* Design PV string layouts for residential and commercial systems.
* Provide technical support and handle design- and product-related inquiries.
* Support customers with monitoring portal questions and troubleshooting.
* Deliver training and guidance on the use of SolarEdge tools, including the Design Tool, SetApp, and Site Mapper.
* Follow up on projects throughout all phases — from design and installation to commissioning — and verify system functionality post-commissioning (remotely or on-site).
* Coordinate and conduct site visits during installation and commissioning phases, including:
* On-site training on mounting SolarEdge inverters and optimizers.
* Providing hands-on technical guidance and demonstrations of SolarEdge technology.
* Develop deep technical expertise in SolarEdge products, system design, troubleshooting, and commissioning processes.
* Stay up to date with all product updates, system changes, and known issues/solutions within the residential and commercial product range.
* Advise installers on AC and DC installation aspects of PV systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

* Completed electrical engineering education at MBO (MTS) level.
* Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
* Experience in residential and/or large commercial PV systems is an advantage.
* Ability to independently design and advise on AC and DC components of large solar systems.
* Knowledge of and adherence to NEN1010 standards regarding AC and DC installations.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with AutoCAD.
* Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a valid VCA certificate.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and working conditions.
* Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
* Highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
* Strong technical competence and critical thinking ability.
* Capable of working independently across teams and with customers.
