The OpportunityAn established French SME distributor of high-value active ingredients for the cosmetics industry is strengthening its Italian presence.To support the development of its Active Ingredients Division, the company is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to drive commercial growth across Italy.This role combines technical credibility, business development and strategic territory management.
Your MissionCommercial DevelopmentDefine and execute the Italian growth strategyDevelop new business with cosmetic brands, laboratories and CDMOsManage and expand existing accountsNegotiate commercial agreements and manage marginsTechnical InterfacePromote cosmetic active ingredients to R&D and formulation teamsCoordinate sampling, technical trials and supplier interactionsAct as key interface between international principals and Italian clientsPerformance & Market IntelligenceBuild annual sales budget and monitor KPIsAnalyze revenue, margin and product mixMonitor trends (clean beauty, biotech actives, pharma-grade positioning)Provide structured market feedback
ProfileDegree in Chemistry, Formulation, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in technical sales of cosmetic ingredientsStrong understanding of formulation-driven sellingAutonomous, structured and performance-orientedNative-level Italian + professional English required
