Business Development Manager – Automotive Aftermarket
Japanparts S.r.l. has been operating since **** as a leading company in the import and distribution of spare parts for Asian, American, and European vehicles.
The company offers wide and comprehensive product ranges with high quality standards, supported by an efficient logistics system and a widespread distribution network in Italy and abroad.
Location:Italy or other countries (with International Travel)
Contract Type:Full-Time
We are looking for an experiencedBusiness Development Managerwith deep expertise in theautomotive aftermarket sectorfor different product lines.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial skills, a network of relationships with key players in the Aftermarket Automotive Spare Parts industry, and the ability to expand the product portfolio while opening new markets and customers.
Working closely with the Commercial Director, this person will play a pivotal role in growing our business internationally and managing strategic customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:Identify new business opportunities, expand the existing portfolio, and grow the customer base in theautomotive aftermarket sector.
Customer Relationships:Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers across various markets.
Market Expansion:Identify and open new customer accounts and distribution networks across assigned countries and increase the product lines customers buy.
Sales Growth:Develop commercial strategies to drive sales growth and ensure market competitiveness.
Collaboration with Teams:Work closely with Marketing and Product departments to align business development strategies.
Reporting and Planning:Provide business insights and actionable growth plans to the Commercial Director.
Travel and Networking:Attend industry trade shows, customer meetings, and events to strengthen partnerships and expand the company's market presence.
Requirements
Aftermarket Expertise:Strong experience and deep understanding of theautomotive aftermarket sector, including key players and distribution networks across markets.
Commercial Acumen:Proven track record in business development, sales growth, and customer relationship management.
Network of Relationships:Existing connections with distributors, retailers, and industry players across relevant markets.
International Sales Experience:Ability to open new markets and manage international customer accounts.
Language Skills:Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
Independent and Collaborative:Able to work autonomously while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Travel Availability:Willing to travel internationally to meet customers, attend trade shows, and develop business relationships.
