The position holder is responsible to ensure the local implementation of nationally agreed contracts and constantly monitor the market with regards to supply and demand trends and the evolution of the distribution structure.Key Accountabilities
Define local business strategies and ensure the achievement of assigned sales and service objectives, through an effective management of assigned local clients.Contribute to establishing Customer Business Plans and Customer Budgets for the groups to which the customers belong, estimating volumes, attainable net sales, and indicating the resources necessary for the realisation of these plans, coherent with the guidelines and indications received from the Customer Team/Area Manager according to RGM and financial targets.Manage local commercial policies through peripheral negotiations and the local implementation of the national contract, the establishment of local actions aimed at promoting the sell in and sell out of products, promoting the company's image and diffusing the logic of efficient service and of category management.Ensure the management of the assigned customers ensuring the presence of assortments, the introduction of new products and promotional planning in line with the assigned objectives.Ensure a constant and in-depth knowledge of the market in the area, with respect to both supply and demand, through analysis of the brands evolution and competition in terms of products and services offered, their relative positioning, supplying information and proposing development actions to optimise Barilla's competitiveness.Maintain direct relationships with the strategic customers located across the region, particularly in the phases of commercial negotiations, the presentation of new initiatives and problem resolution, in order to promote the company's image and seize opportunities to increase turnover.Monitor monthly spending and local implementation of nationally established promotions, as well as the integration of plans with regionally agreed activities for directly managed clients.Guarantee an adequate level of communication and interaction with field sales, working jointly with district managers in order to ensure an effective level of coordination and alignment between what has been agreed at a decision-making level (managed by LKA) and what is actually carried out in stores with reference to Range, New Products, Promotions, Ordinary Lay Out, Extra displays, etc.
Requirements
Proven experience and excellent understanding of Modern Trade dynamics.Prior experience in Sales, Marketing or Trade Marketing.Strong negotiation, analytical and organizational skills.Ability to engage and influence others, with strong motivation and a high level of energy.Ability to plan, prioritize and work autonomously towards deadline.Entrepreneurial mindset, project management and strategic thinking.Passion and curiosity for trends & market evolution.Fluency in Italian and English
