PpIn the role of Events Sales Executive, you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive sales management, as well as all operational duties for groups and events (accommodations and Food Beverage functions alike). You will serve as an essential bridge between sales and operations, ensuring seamless collaboration and flawless execution of all events, with a focus on driving revenue through on-property sales opportunities. This position will allow you to sell and operate upscale groups and events, providing in-depth information and excellent knowledge of the territory and hotel operations, ensuring business continuity and a 360° customer service approach. /p h3Primary Responsibilities Include: /h3 ul liSales and Lead Management: Promptly respond to event and group inquiries (excluding accommodation or up to 6 rooms), creating detailed proposals, negotiating with clients, and implementing follow-up strategies. Collaborate with SESO and the Hotel Team for site inspections and group accommodation management. Support the PST Team and SESO in on-property sales initiatives, including familiarization trips. /li liTailored Proposals and Upselling: Create customized event proposals (non-accommodation related) that highlight upselling opportunities through premium packages, additional services (catering, decorations, audiovisual), and exclusive experiences. Identify and promote value-added services to maximize revenue per event. /li liOperational Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure all event details, from logistics to setup, are effectively communicated and flawlessly executed. Organize pre-con meetings and support all operational teams. Establish a feedback loop with the SESO Director, Hotel GMs, and Operations to refine sales strategies and event delivery, aligning with our hotels' positioning and ambition plan. /li liPerformance Analysis: Monitor and analyze event-related revenue metrics, client satisfaction, and key stakeholder relationships to assess the effectiveness of strategies. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3What You Bring: /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. /li liProven experience (at least 2-3 years) in event sales, hotel sales, or a similar customer-facing role within the luxury hospitality or events sector. /li liStrong understanding of sales principles, customer service excellence, and event operational coordination. /li liExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. /li liProficiency in CRM software, event management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. /li liFluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus. /li liHighly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. /li liProactive, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. /li liDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and exceed sales targets. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 h3What We Offer: /h3 ul liCompetitive salary. /li liTeam social events. /li liMeals provided at our staff canteen during working hours. /li liA unique opportunity to gain experience in a world-class luxury environment. /liliParticipation in the hotel's training and development programs. /li liDiscovering Belmond programme, which offers team members complimentary accommodation at Belmond hotels, discounted rates for our trains, cruises and safaris, and discounted food and beverages. /li /ul pWe strive to create an environment where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
