This means that we are an important part of the everyday lives of people and companies around the world._ - Would you like to join us in shaping the future of motion?_ - _ - We are now looking for a _ Business Development Manager EMEA - PV Wheel End Automotive Business Key Responsibilities: - Managing Business opportunities and RFQs, included project risk analysis, pricing strategy and interactive communication with our frontline teams - Driving Business Opportunities as Project Manager from initial inquiry until customer nomination according to ETO process with a handover to Customer Project Management at BG B stage and further support until successful SOP by monitoring & guidance of the project - Responsible for securing profit on new businesses by performing cost and business validation calculations. - Portfolio Management of Current Products: develop and improve the profitability of our current wheel end business portfolio together with Product Lines, Manufacturing, Controlling and Sales, securing the execution of our Portfolio Management Roadmap and profitability recovery plans on a regular basis. - Defining targets and key items for Integrated Cost Reduction (ICR) initiatives based on business needs towards Purchasing organization. - Supporting New Market Offers (NMO) and technical innovation developments with market analysis and Business Case creations, value proposition and cost/price analysis - Support in collecting intelligence to derive market prices for target cost settings regarding relevant product families. - Support with consolidated information concerning future growth of different product lines and regions for the decision-making process regarding investments for the manufacturing footprint and production capacity and driving localization projects together with operations and manufacturing. Requirements: - Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Finance - Some years’ experience in Engineering role, Manufacturing, Controlling, Business development or Sales - Great team spirit and excellent leadership skills, being able to manage activities in a transversal and multi-cultural environment. - Proficient communication and presentation skills; proficient in English, both written and spoken. - Good planning and problem-solving skills and capability to moderate conflicts of interests. - Contributed significantly to company goals in prior job roles. - Good knowledge in data management, efficient skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power BI, etc ) - Willingness to travel - SKF is committed to creating a diverse environment, and we firmly believe that a diverse workforce is essential for our continued success.
