Job Purpose
MSC Cruises is the world’s third largest cruise brand and one of the leaders in regions such as Europe, South America, the Gulf and Southern Africa. Headquartered in Geneva, MSC Cruises is a modern, fast growing global brand with a strong presence in the Caribbean, North America and Far East markets. As part of a Finance Transformation Program that includes the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana, MSC Cruises is seeking a qualified professional with SAP FI skills to support the development of a state of the art Finance and Accounting solution.
Key Accountabilities
* Collaborate with the R2R Team (Functional, AMS, Architecture) in defining finance processes.
* Collect and assess business requirement for finance process evolution.
* Support go live and roll out of target end‑to‑end finance processes aligned with SAP standard best‑practice.
* Ensure functional process integration with company tools in close collaboration with IT, Sales and Procurement stakeholders.
* Review and maintain comprehensive documentation (blueprints, functional specifications, user manuals, training materials) approved by business owners.
* Review and validate the technical solution proposed by the development team.
* Define the parametrisation standard and naming convention with the development team.
* Prepare end‑to‑end test plan and perform FIT testing.
* Define and contribute to migration from legacy finance systems – Migration Cockpit knowledge is a plus.
* Assist finance business team in UAT and test monitoring.
* Collaborate with functional support team to define the Target Operating Model for R2R.
* Provide support and training to business users on FI processes and integrations.
* Report progress, issues and risks to the R2R architecture lead.
* Support AMS and accounting teams in the closing process.
* Assess on‑site issues and ensure prompt resolution, escalating when necessary.
* Ensure functional quality and integrity of the target solution through testing.
* Build a sustainable business relationship across finance, IT and other functions.
* Travel to Geneva, occasionally to other locations during rollout.
Qualifications
* 7‑10 years of consulting or SAP S/4 implementation experience mainly on FI‑CO.
* Experience in cruise, shipping or hospitality industry is a plus.
* Fluent English.
* Extensive hands‑on SAP experience on S/4 HANA (FI‑CO) with greenfield and rollout projects.
* Knowledge of SAP set‑up and maintenance for VAT, Sales tax, Fixed Asset, General Ledger, Closing Process, FX revaluation, and accounting treatments.
* Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
* Strong functional knowledge of finance processes.
* Team player, collaborative, curious and enthusiastic.
* Excellent communication across functions and geographies, conceptual skills and ability to simplify complex requirements.
* Good organisational and problem‑solving skills.

* Right to work in Italy.
