We are hiring a Business Development Manager – Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) to drive grid-scale energy storage business development and sales across Germany & Italy markets at Midea Clou. You will be responsible for new business acquisition, key stakeholder relationship building, revenue growth, end-to-end customer & project management, and delivering regional sales KPIs. Base: Italy OR GermanyKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify and capture new business opportunities in the European energy storage industry.Research potential clients, maintain long-term partnerships with key market players, and explore emerging market segments.Build and maintain a solid network with project developers, IPPs, utilities, EPC contractors, investment institutions and other core stakeholders.Communicate and negotiate effectively with decision-makers to gain trust and establish long-term credible cooperation.Drive sales growth in core European markets, focusing on utility, commercial & industrial energy storage segments.Deeply analyze customer demands and provide customized grid-scale energy storage system solutions.Take charge of full-lifecycle customer management: lead generation, referral development, relationship maintenance, contract negotiation and after-sales support.Standardize project specifications, ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery to meet both customer and company business requirements.Manage business leads, contract information and project progress via company CRM system.Develop regional market strategic plans to achieve sales targets and maximize business profitability.Regularly report sales performance, market trends, project updates and customer relationship status to internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree or above.Minimum 3 years technical sales / business development experience in energy storage and EPC industry.Solid experience in grid-scale battery energy storage systems, covering integrated battery systems, inverters/converters and power supply products, with mature client resources in utility and EPC sectors.In-depth understanding of European PV, wind power, grid-scale energy storage and C&I energy storage market landscape.Strong cross-regional & cross-team communication capability; able to coordinate multi-level stakeholders with a global business vision.Sharp market insight, excellent problem-solving ability, good teamwork with multicultural teams, and high professional ethics.Result-oriented, client-centric, detail-minded, self-motivated and pursue high working standards.Willing to travel 50% locally in Europe with occasional international business trips.Midea Group is a global leading technology manufacturing giant, ranking among the world's top 500 enterprises, with profound layout and strong resource advantages in new energy, smart grid and energy storage sectors.Clou Electronics, as a core subsidiary under Midea, is a leading comprehensive supplier of grid-scale energy storage, power automation and new energy overall solutions.
