This is a unique "greenfield" opportunity to be a foundational member of my client's European commercial team. You will be responsible for developing and executing the channel sales strategy for our Life Science Automation portfolio across Southern Europe. You will identify, recruit, and manage a network of distribution partners to drive significant revenue growth and establish Galatek as a market leader in the region. Key Responsibilities:
* Channel Development: Identify, evaluate, recruit, and onboard new channel partners (distributors, resellers, system integrators) in key Southern European markets (Spain, Italy, Portugal, etc.).
* Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets for Galatek's portfolio of standardized life science products, including liquid handling workstations, microplate readers, washers, and dispensers.
* Partner Enablement: Train, equip, and motivate channel partners with the necessary product knowledge, sales tools, and marketing support to effectively sell Galatek solutions.
* Sales Management: Manage the entire sales pipeline with partners, from lead generation to closing. Co-travel with partner sales reps and provide support on key customer visits and demonstrations.
* Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with channel partners and key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the biopharmaceutical, clinical diagnostics, and academic research communities.
* Market Intelligence: Act as the voice of the market, providing feedback to marketing, product, and R&D teams on customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.
* Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and market analysis using the company's CRM system.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in channel sales or technical sales within the life science instrumentation, laboratory automation, or diagnostics industry .
* Network: A proven track record of building and managing a successful distributor/channel partner network in Southern Europe. You have an existing network of relevant contacts.
* Location: Remote
* Product Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of laboratory workflows and familiarity with products such as liquid handlers, plate readers, and related automation equipment.
* Attributes: A self-starting, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated individual who can work autonomously in a remote setting. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
