We are looking for a Software Integration Testing Engineer to support the validation of AUTOSAR-based ECU software for a major OEM. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing integration tests, validating interfaces across software layers, analyzing defects, and supporting automation and compliance activities in an ASPICE-driven environment. The position requires strong experience in embedded software testing, AUTOSAR architecture, and integration validation on ECU level.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute integration test plans for AUTOSAR-based ECUs, including Classic and Adaptive Platform environments
* Perform functional and interface-level testing between BSW modules, SWCs, and MCAL
* Configure and validate RTE and ECU Extract using tools such as Vector DaVinci Configurator and Developer
* Analyze integration test results, identify root causes of issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects
* Maintain and execute automated test activities using Python and CAPL in CANoe or other HIL/simulation environments
* Ensure traceability between test cases, software architecture, and requirements in line with SWE.1 and SWE.2
* Support CI/CD pipelines for software integration testing using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
* Contribute to ASPICE-compliant documentation and support SWE.5 process audit activities
Qualifications
* Experience in software integration testing within embedded automotive environments
* Good knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, including BSW, SWCs, MCAL, RTE, and ECU Extract
* Hands‑on experience with Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer
* Experience with test automation using Python and/or CAPL
* Practical knowledge of CANoe, HIL, or simulation-based test platforms
* Understanding of defect analysis and root cause investigation in embedded software
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
* Good understanding of ASPICE processes, especially SWE.1, SWE.2, and SWE.5
