Our people and projects are focused on supporting long-term sustainable growth and energy security. /p pLightsource bp was fully acquired by bp in 2024. /p h3Summary /h3 pbWhat You’ll do (the role) /bbr/ Inside the Business Development unit will give support to all activities for both securing the pipeline growth according to company targets, and bringing projects through the acquisition, filing stages and then to the Ready To Build status, through Financial Close and Construction/Operation. /p pWill also regularly report and update projects authorization timeline, environmental issues/solutions, liquidity prospects and budgeting through the proper company IT platform. /p h3Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liCoordinate with internal support functions (Legal, Grid, Commercial Engineering, Power Markets, Planning, Structured Finance) and external advisors in evaluating greenfield and/or Co-Dev opportunities, both within PV and BESS market, to secure a pipeline growth aligned with yearly company targets. /li liSupport and coordination of third-party developers or service providers in activities for issuing the application of the projects to relevant authorities and then obtaining legal authorizations for the installation and operation of ground mounted photovoltaic plants and BESS units. /li liSupport and coordination of third-party developers and internal support functions in activities for integrating documents and giving feedback to Authorities during the permitting process. /li liSupport and coordination with the team in updating and transmission to the top-management of forecasting dashboards of permitting processes (timeline, budgeting, cash flow forecasts, financial impacts of potential unforeseen factors). /li liSupport and coordination of third-party developers and local authorities in managing environmental mitigation propositions and related issues. /li liDirect interface with the competent authorities and entities involved in the project authorizations, and with all stakeholders (including municipalities and landowners). /li liSupport to other teams in MA deals or disputes, both technically and through financial models management. /li liSupport for business lines in managing technical due diligence activities. /li /ul h3Who We’re Looking For /h3 h3Knowledge /h3 ul liGeneral Knowledge of current regulation framework in Italian PV and BESS Market. /li liExcellent knowledge of all both greenfield development and co-development processes /li liCapability in reflecting assumptions changes into financial model analysis /li liExcellent knowledge of English language /li liCapability in constraints analysis for PV sites and GIS environment knowledge will be a plus /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liFive-year degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul li5+ years’ experience as Business Development Manager in the PV market /li liHaving Business Development experience in the BESS market will be a plus /li liExperience and interpersonal skills in managing relations with public organizations /li /ul h3Why you’ll make a great member of the team /h3 h3Personal qualities /h3 ul liGoal-oriented /li liCapable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines /li liStrong organizational and leadership skills /li liAble to collaborate effectively with other teams, including Grid, Legal, and Commercial Engineering /li liEntrepreneurial mindset /li /ul h3Why you’ll want to work for us /h3 pOur company is a place where you can be yourself and grow – a place where your ideas and opinions matter. /p h3Be you /h3 pWe pride ourselves on being an inclusive community, where every individual is valued and treated with respect. /p h3Be responsible /h3 pOur culture is driven by our core values.
