Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will autonomously perform the following activities: Achieve sales and profit margin targets in the country; Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales; Manage and optimize current business accounts; Develop and build new business accounts; Communicate with suppliers and buyers, responding to inquiries; Identify and deliver new business opportunities; Represent the company at meetings and exhibitions; Report monthly sales performance to management; Monitor and report on market trends in the country. Ideal Profile: Technical education with strong commercial understanding; Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Sciences, or similar fields; 3-5 years of experience in international chemical companies involved in polymers production and distribution in Italy; Good technical knowledge of chemicals, materials, and tools; familiarity with polymers such as engineering plastics, high-performance materials, and thermoplastic elastomers for applications like automotive, medical, etc.; Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus; Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 50%).
