PpWe are looking for an experienced and successful Sales Director to enhance (and create new) long‑term, trusting relationships with our Customers in Italy. The Bloom Energy Sales Director Italy’s role is to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities for the entire Bloom Energy products portfolio and solutions in Italy. /p pThe Bloom Energy’s Sales Director Italy will report to the Regional Senior Sales Director and will be based in Italy, preferable in Milan. /p pThe Bloom Energy Sales Director Italy will work closely with the regional Energy Transition Management and HQ Product Sales Team members to build a pipeline of opportunities for Bloom Energy (Bloom) and to increase penetration of Bloom’s technology and solutions in Italy, both in the industrial power generation space, biogas space, and in the data centers space. /p pHe will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, providing the product team with market intelligence information and expanding our market share in the power generation industry, data centers, biogas market, and H2 market. He will also be responsible for penetration of Bloom’s technology into the real estate market segments. /p h3Roles And Responsibilities /h3 ul liOperating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts /li liBuilding and maintaining strong, long‑lasting relationships with Customers in Italy at any level /li liOverseeing Customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit for Bloom Energy /li liWork as a Sales Lead for Bloom opportunities that have been identified in the assigned Region following the Bloom commercial processes and leadership inputs. /li liLead the development of full value proposition for Customers on Bloom’s technology and Bloom’s solution’s offerings. /li liWork with leadership, Energy Transition Management, Commercial Operations Team, and HQ Product Sales Team to interface with Customers and influence Customers towards Bloom technology. /li liLead internal efforts of proposal on‑time creation as well as the development of new market opportunities for Bloom technology. /li liEnsure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to Customer needs and objectives /li liPartner with Customers to develop the deals/projects and work with HQ Product Sales Team and Commercial Team members to win new orders. /li liWork on regional partnership landscape and structure special and complex transactions. /li liClearly and transparently communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to the Bloom Energy stakeholders and leadership /li liForecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) /li liPrepare reports on account status /li liCollaborate with the Bloom Energy stakeholders and leadership to identify and grow opportunities within the assigned region /li liAssist with challenging Customer’s requests or issue escalations as needed /li liInterpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes and/or services /li liUtilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision making processes /li liProvide the Bloom Energy stakeholders and leadership with competitive information about market dynamic in line and compliance with the Bloom Energy policies /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s in Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience /li liConducting business adhering to the highest standards of compliance and sustainability, and Bloom Energy policies /li liMinimum 10 years work experience in Sales (as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role) or Commercial Operations with frequent Customer’s touch /li liStrong knowledge of the Italian power generation market, including key players, regulations, and Customer requirements /li liStrong knowledge of the incentives scheme available in Italy for use of high efficiency power generation solutions, biogas for power generation, and any other option can be leveraged by Bloom Energy to market our products /li liExcellent presentation skills /li liDemonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C‑level /li liStrong ability to understand Customer’s needs and specs and delivering Customer’s focused solutions with high value for Customer and Bloom Energy /li liProven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to the details /li liExcellent active listening and negotiation capabilities /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liProactive, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented mindset /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team /li liExceptional oral and written communication skills /li liStrong interpersonal and leadership skills /li liDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems /li liDemonstrated ability to lead programs and projects /li li“Never give up” attitude /li /ul h3Other Considerations /h3 pMust be fluent in English and Italian.
