Business Development Manager will be tasked to contribute to the significant growth of the Eurofins Forensic Services business - our start-up initiative in the Italian market. Responsibilities: - Leading business development activities in the given territory based on the business strengths and needs unique to the region. - Collaborating with the leadership on the strategy execution to meet the business growth objectives, structure new deals and build upon existing business relationships. - Strengthening the market position by creating, nurturing, and closing new business relationships to ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales. - Screening the market potential by analyzing direct competitors, identifying potential targets, and evaluating opportunities to convert generated leads to clients and bring the new business effectively to the Group. - Participating in congresses, seminars, and industry events to increase the brand visibility and recognition. - Acquiring further market knowledge by identifying and monitoring industry trends, customers drivers, major industry players and main decision makers. - Performing other duties as required and assigned. Experience: experience in the forensic sector (genetics, toxicology ) and/or working with law enforcement forces, with at least 3 years of professional experience in sales or business development. Skills/abilities: excellence in establishing and nurturing relationships combined with a customer-centric approach. Ability to design and execute business development strategy to contribute to the strategic direction of the business. Strong aggressive business development skills with a hunter and winning mentality, drive for results, proactive and can-do attitude, especially in driving footprint in new areas, with new clients. Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Good English skills (verbal and written). Secure use of IT solutions.
