Responsibilities / Tasks
1. Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their needs, pain points, and aspirations by interacting with customers and data.
2. Continuously seek customer feedback and insights to inform product development and decision making.
3. Represent the bakery business until in the GEA Customer Portal Clubs and champion the division's requirements.
4. Analyse (large amounts of) data, find patterns and derive recommendations for action based on your findings for new product and machine features and process optimizations for individual product areas.
5. Identify and implement appropriate digital business concepts and technologies to create new solutions for our customers in the digital environment.
6. You will work closely with GEA decision makers and clients, presenting your ideas and discussing your concepts with them.
Your Profile / Qualifications
7. Excellent degree with a technical or scientific focus (e.g. physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, etc.)
8. You enjoy working in a data-driven way and recognizing patterns and underlying drivers for greater customer benefit based on analytical models
9. High level of initiative and ability to familiarize yourself with complex data models, products, machines and processes, question them and develop improvement approaches
10. You work in a structured and precise manner, pay attention to detail, have a strong awareness of quality and the ambition to establish the best product solutions and the best user experience for our customers
11. Willingness to travel at customer sites
12. Will be consider a plus: experience in working with relational databases (especially SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript), programming experience (e.g. Python) and ideally some experience with machine learning models and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
