Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenBusiness Development Managerto lead the market expansion of ourfuel cell stack solutionstailored forlarge-scale data centers. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical understanding of energy systems and a proven track record in enterprise sales or strategic partnerships within the data center or clean energy solutions sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, engage, and close strategic partnerships with managed or company data centers, as well as hyperscale and colocation data center operators.
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for SolydEra’s fuel cell stack offerings.
* Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
* Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
* Represent SolydEra at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
* Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in the energy cleantech solutions for data centers, or data center industries.
* Strong understanding of fuel cell technologies, energy infrastructure, or backup power systems.
* Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions to enterprise clients.
* Business Acumen
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
* Willingness to travel as needed.
