COMPANY INTRODUCTION :
Our client is a global platform that simplifies all buying and selling needs related to travel for its partners worldwide. Offering a comprehensive range of products including flights, hotels, trains, vacation packages, car rentals, transfers, sightseeing tours, cruises, and freight, the company is a key player in the travel sector.

RECRUITMENT CONTEXT :

To support its expansion, our client is looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen their team in Florence. This role plays a strategic part in supporting partners and driving sales growth.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join an innovative company in the travel sector. You will be responsible for:

- Onboarding and training :
Welcoming and training new partners on the client’s B2B platform while enhancing their confidence in using the tools.

- Developing and maintaining relationships :
Maintaining relationships with existing partners and negotiating commercial and financial terms to keep strong ties at all levels.

- Acquiring new clients :
Identifying and leveraging new business opportunities to meet the sales targets.

- On-site visits and webinars :
Conducting on-site visits (minimum of 4 days per week) to organize training sessions, webinars, and present new products to boost sales.

- Performance analysis :
Monitoring client and team performance using BI tools to achieve better results.

- Problem coordination :
Collaborating with the support team to quickly resolve any issues.

- Regular reporting :
Providing regular reports to the regional manager regarding performance and actions taken.

PROFILE SOUGHT :

- Desired experience:

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the travel industry, with a strong network of travel agents in Florence.
- Technical skills:
Ability to analyze data and use BI tools to optimize performance.
- Personal qualities:
Ambitious, autonomous, results-oriented, with excellent commercial communication and B2B negotiation skills.

* Proven experience in local sales development, ideally with an online travel platform, Bedbank, or SaaS travel solutions company.
* Sales skills and a track record of success in the local travel industry.
* Fluent in English and the local language (Italian).
* Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role.

SALARY AND BENEFITS :

* Salary between €38,000 and €40,000 gross per year + performance-based bonuses.
