The Role
Our Account Management team oversees the relationship with Grocery strategic partners. As Deliveroo continues to grow, we become a major revenue channel for grocers — providing the best support and acting as consultants using data-driven insights and industry knowledge to guide our partners' growth. The AMs are passionate, dynamic team players who work well with other departments, and excel at building relationships!
As an account manager, you will be responsible for:
* Managing a portfolio of Deliveroo's most important grocery partners, including high sales volume drivers and global grocery brands.
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with grocery partners.
* Understanding partners' business goals and challenges to provide strategic guidance and support.
* Collaborating with other departments (Marketing, Operations, Corporate, Customer Service) to develop new plans and solve problems.
* Analyzing data to increase growth and profitability for partners and Deliveroo.
* Driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
* Developing and implementing customized solutions to meet partners' needs in collaboration with internal teams.
* Serving as the main point of contact for partners, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in commercial roles, retail/FMCG, or high-growth companies.
* Knowledge of the food retail industry.
* Experience in creating long-term relationships.
* Fluency in English.
* Proficiency with tools and program management applications to apply best practices.
