Overview
For our client, an important company operating in the eyewear sector, we are looking for a Product Manager.
Responsibilities
Product Development: Research and identify market trends; collaborate with design and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop new products that meet safety standards and address customer needs; manage the product development process from ideation through prototyping, testing, and final production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met; stay up-to-date on industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring all products comply with relevant requirements; work closely with regulatory affairs teams to obtain necessary certifications and approvals.
Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the market, including assessing competitor products and pricing strategies; develop product positioning and pricing strategies based on market research and competitive analysis.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product support; work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source materials, manage production schedules, and maintain quality standards.
Customer Engagement: Gather feedback from customers, safety professionals, and industry experts to continuously improve existing products and identify opportunities for new product development; provide product training and support to sales teams, distributors, and end-users as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, product design, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) in product development and management.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and customer feedback to drive product strategy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
