PpJob Details /p h3Nature and Scope of Position /h3 pThe HR department operates across Tuscany - Florence, Pistoia and Arezzo Municipality. Many of the employees are based in the field (Factories) and communication is key to maintaining a healthy working relationship. The department is currently structured as follows : HR Director Supply Chain (reports to the SVP SC), 1 HR Director Supply Chain Factories, 1 HR Advisor (working across both factories) and 1 SC HR Admin (based in Sicla) - these last 2 roles are reporting to the HR Director Supply Chain Factories; 1 HR Advisor based in the JCF Office and managing also JCS- Switzerland. /p pThis role of HR Director Supply Chain plays a key part in building on the success of the HR team. Whilst communicating across many levels of the organisation the HR Director Supply Chain SC, will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate processes are kept in place to manage the smooth running of the HR teams' responsibilities. /p ul liTo support and advise managers on the recruitment, induction, attendance, retention, employee relations and employment of appropriately skilled and expert staff to meet business needs. /li liTo support and manage with SVP Supply Chain / VP Shoe Division the continuous integration process of both factories /li liTo have experience in recruitment and resource planning, particularly Supply Chain Technicians /li liTo assist the SVP Supply Chain / SVP HR Global with further development of HR systems, procedures and policies and Trade Union management /li liTo work with the HR team and undertake a variety of HR projects as required including research, proposals, negotiation, implementation and monitoring of initiatives. /li liTo work with the Finance team and undertake the implementation of new reports and monitoring forecasts and budgets /li liResponsibility for keeping current processes and practices up to date /li liTo develop and deliver training sessions to Line Managers and Key employees on HR policies /li liTo contribute towards effective employee reward management /li liOffer an internal consultancy service (at a certain level) to the business, diagnosing issues, identifying needs and providing creative solutions in line with business objectives. /li liAssist Leadership Team to influence managers to ensure that the HR processes are embedded across the business, with a focus on the new factory purchased /li liBuild and maintain excellent working relationships with business partners (Factory General Directors and line Managers) and networking contacts in order to support the business needs. /li liTo provide expertise and guidance to Supply Chain management on all ER issues across the Italy in coordination with the SC HSE Manager /li liTo provide reliable and trusted employment law advice. Liaise with local Employment Lawyers, where appropriate and within budget /li liIdentify and assess HR issues which need to be brought to the attention of the rest of the HR team, and act upon as necessary /li liTo provide advice on immigration and visa queries if required /li liTo manage effective relationships with payroll providers as required /li /ul h3Qualification / Education /h3 ul liGraduate calibre /li liEnglish speaking is mandatory /li /ul h3Experience Required /h3 ul liHR experience within a Supply Chain and Manufacture environment / experience on redundancies / downsizing is preferable /li liSome payroll experience would be an advantage /li liInvolvement in the appraisal process and pay reviews /li liDemonstrable experience of producing ad-hoc reports /li liRecruitment experience /li liEmployee relations experience, including assisting on disciplinary and grievance issues /li /ul h3Particular skills / knowledge required /h3 ul liHighly competent user of MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint /li liStrong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise /li liExcellent attention to detail and accuracy /li liAble to incorporate regular mundane tasks into day to day workload /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written /li liAn understanding of Italian and Switzerland HR employment law and best practice /li liStrong commercial awareness /li liConfident team player /li liAbility to work in a fast paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the business /li /ul h3Characteristics required /h3 ul liDiscretion and confidentiality /li liDemonstrable ability to use initiative and be proactive /li liTeam player with the ability to work on own initiative when required /li liConfident and assertive, with the capability and will to develop self /li liStrong communication skills and pleasant and accommodating disposition /li liHighly organised with an ability to multi task /li liAble to work under pressure and meet the needs of a demanding and ever changing / growing business /li liInnovative and proactive, with a "can do" and flexible approach /li liStrong numerical skills /li liCommitted with a passion for the role they play in their capacity /li /ul pThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
