Company: IRCA Group is a leading international B2B provider of semi-finished ingredients for the bakery, pastry and gelato markets, serving independent producers as well as large food manufacturers. Core products include chocolate, decorations, creams, inclusions, pastry mixes, gelato ingredients, and other bakery / pastry ingredients. Headquartered in Italy, IRCA Group has a strong track record of growth over the last decade, with 22 manufacturing facilities all over the world, 2000 employee and €1 billion of revenues. Purpose of Position: Full responsibility for the assigned category concerning all levers of the marketing mix with the development and execution of the annual strategic marketing plan with complete analysis of market, client needs, competition and trends, as well as the according trade marketing activities involving the development of catalogues and sales materials. The position has a global focus in terms of product assortment; ATL and BTL activities have to be created for the Italian market and international trade marketing teams have to be supported in the activation of the category in all other markets. All activities need to be steered in close collaboration with the relevant departments, in particular Sales, R&D and Operations. The focus of the position lies in the management of the assigned category: Continuous analysis (internal and external) to make the right choices for Cesarin’s global assortment (New Product Development, Product Improvement and Delisting), as well as support to the sales team enabling a smooth go to market through analysis and trade materials. Description of main Activities / Responsibilities: - Close collaboration with the relevant departments, in particular Sales, R&D and Operations. - Strategic Assortment management: analysis, conclusions and recommendations for: New Product Development; Product Improvement; Delistings; Key Account Cesarin assortment analysis (FM / SME) - Product market intelligence: Research and analyse market conditions as well as customer and products performance - volume, value and margin; Identify Key competitors, client and consumer trends; Articulate market requirements and opportunities including monitoring of country performance; Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancement - Managing existing product portfolio: Formula upgrade, label adaption, packaging upgrade; Promote new and existing products with specific communication tools; Price management; Portfolio positioning vs. IRCA legacy products including benchmarking - New Product Development: Work out the NPD plan; Roll out the new product launch plan to commercial team and other stakeholders; Create comprehensive selling kit for new product in collaboration with Trade Marketing; Tracking and evaluation after the new product launching - Manage customer specific projects - Develop the ATL and BTL materials and ensure impeccable execution, e.g. catalogues, flyers. Requisitions: - Education Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field - Professional Skills Mastery in data analysis and the according tools; Outstanding project management skills; Excellent product management skills - Experiences 2-3 years of experience in the role, ideally experience in B2B marketing or trade marketing within the market (confectionary, pastry or ice cream) - Language Skills Proficient English. - Computer Skills Proficient in the use of MS Office and databases. - Behavioural requirements:Self starter with high level of self motivation; Communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Develops strong working relationships with colleagues across departments, legal entities and seniority levels; Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent analytical skills; Prone to autonomous management and organization of work; Hands on attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment; Attitude for continuous learning / curiosity
