Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Trains & Hotels Italy, the Senior Leisure Sales Manager will proactively promote and sell Orient Express Trains & Hotels to the European market. This role requires in-depth knowledge of luxury consortia accounts and tour operators in Europe to promote and expand the brand across the continent. The candidate will develop strategic partnerships with key accounts to grow market share and sales of both hotels and trains.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key luxury consortia accounts and tour operators to maximize business opportunities.
2. Work closely with the Director of Sales and marketing team to establish and adapt strategies for luxury leisure business growth.
3. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to develop benchmarking tools supporting the commercial strategy.
4. Represent the company at major industry events to enhance brand visibility and foster strategic partnerships.
5. Collaborate with global sales teams on account management strategies.
6. Contract key luxury leisure partners for hotels and trains.
7. Organize familiarization trips for key buyers.
Qualifications
1. Deep knowledge of the European luxury leisure and consortia market.
2. Minimum of five years proven experience in the luxury hospitality sector.
3. Experience in negotiation and contracting.
4. Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
5. Proactive, results-driven attitude.
6. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
7. Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
