The selected candidate will play a central role in driving customer acquisition, service development, and business growth across Italy and nearby markets. The position requires a high level of autonomy and an entrepreneurial approach, acting as a key function in the company’s ongoing international expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Customer Acquisition: Identify and convert new clients in Italy and surrounding regions.
* Solution Selling: Promote Nurminen’s full offering — rail, terminals, warehousing and multimodal logistics.
* Service Development: Co‑develop solutions tailored to regional demand using market understanding.
* Partnership Management: Collaborate with Nordic and European subsidiaries to align efforts.
* Progress Tracking: Meet performance goals aligned with Nurminen’s strategy.
Experience & Market Knowledge
* Proven track record in new customer acquisition and B2B sales, especially in international logistics services.
* Solid knowledge of rail transport, supply chains and multimodal solutions.
* Excellent understanding of the Italian logistics market, including regional business practices and pricing models.
* Fluent in English and Italian; strong cultural familiarity with Southern Europe.
Understanding the company, culture, values, plans and goals — as well as the profile’s characteristics — is essential to succeed and to attract the best candidates. A profiling meeting will be held as soon as possible after the cooperation with the customer has been confirmed.
