Taylor Hopkinson is leading the recruitment process on behalf of one of our clients operating in the renewable energy sector. We are currently searching for a Sales Director to join their expanding European team. Our client is looking for a strategic Sales Director to accelerate business development in the fields of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS).
Key Responsibilities: Spearhead the identification and conversion of new business opportunities across multiple European markets. Engage and nurture relationships with key industry players including IPPs, developers, and infrastructure investors. Lead the entire sales process—from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and project handover. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop technical service offers tailored to client needs. Maintain market intelligence and adjust commercial strategy based on emerging trends and client requirements. Represent the company at industry events and forums to boost brand visibility and network expansion.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 year's experience in B2B sales within the renewable energy or engineering consultancy space. Well-established network in the European solar PV, BESS, or grid infrastructure markets. Strong understanding of the development and execution life-cycle of large-scale energy infrastructure projects. Excellent interpersonal skills with a persuasive, client-focused approach to business. Proficiency in English is required; Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
