The Ideal Candidate:
Experience:
5+ years in the water/utilities industry, ideally in a sales role.
Proven experience in B2B project sales, particularly with government and municipal clients.
Solid understanding of piping systems, especially Ductile Iron or alternatives.
Skills:
Strong market research and business development capabilities.
Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
Strategic mindset with a focus on expanding market share and customer base.
Qualifications:
University degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify competitive activity, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share in Italy.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the water/utilities supply chain.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies and municipalities.
Collaborate with the Country Manager to align regional sales efforts with broader company goals.
Travel Requirements:
This role is based in Italy and will involve regular travel within the region to engage with clients, attend project sites, and coordinate with internal teams.
