We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside and surrounded by a 300-acre organic estate, vineyards, and exquisite gardens.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of high-end restaurant operations, a genuine passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a refined environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and elegant service flow.
* Supervise and guide the team, providing leadership, coaching, and hands-on assistance when needed.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Lead onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
* Prepare staff schedules and manage table assignments to ensure optimal service coverage.
* Interact with guests, anticipate their needs, and handle requests or issues with professionalism and grace.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment.
* Familiarity with restaurant management systems and operational tools.
* Strong customer-service orientation and a genuine passion for hospitality.
* Fluent English is required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
* Solid knowledge of food, wine, and service standards.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
* Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
