About the role
In TDSYNNEX Italy we are looking for three Sales Specialists in different Business Units:
* Sales Specialist – Cyber security
* Sales Specialist – Hybrid Cloud/VMware
* Sales Specialist – HR Cloud Solutions/Factorial (Temporary Contract)
* Sales Specialist – Lenovo PC (Temporary Contract)
The Sales Specialist is experienced in generating new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and having a general conversation around a solution/product area. The focus is achieving monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities
* Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts.
* Engage in active inside selling by using a number of different sources to gain information on customers and utilises this to maximise call potential and outcomes.
* Manage customer backorder and engage in intelligent project fishing.
* Manage project end‑to‑end or hand over to pre‑sales for technical requirements.
* Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions.
* Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers.
* Attain key performance indicators such as customer engagement.
* Develop partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross‑selling, etc.).
* Identify project opportunities and engage with BDMs if specific product/vendor knowledge is required.
* Drive sales of specific products/vendors if specific knowledge is required.
* Provide accurate and timely quotations (SMB Managed (AS), SP/E‑Var/SI segment, specialists (IBM), entire AS BUs).
* Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system, regularly review, update and ensure active closure of opportunities.
* Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting.
What we are looking for
* 2–3 years of experience.
* Strong numeracy with good attention to detail.
* Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
* Priority management and planning skills.
* Strive to achieve set targets.
* Understands sales process.
* Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM.
* IT industry knowledge desirable but not essential.
