Gas Turbines Configuration Management Engineer - Oil & Gas Domain
Location: Florence
The selected candidate, within a well-structured Configuration Management Engineering team working on Gas Turbines for power generation plants and Oil & Gas (On-Shore and Off-Shore), will be trained to handle daily project execution: from the Opening Meeting-Order (RAC) to the final start-up meeting with the client, with particular attention to technical aspects, KPIs (budget, planning, on-time delivery), and constant collaboration with all engineering departments (design, new product definition, testing), Supply Chain (production and procurement), and commercial teams.
Following technical alignment meetings with suppliers, the candidate will draft technical purchase specifications and component lists (BoM) for the configuration and procurement of Gas Turbines in accordance with the client’s project requirements.
Finally, the candidate will maintain and update all documentation for standard and customized configurations (Master BoM, design templates, quotation limits) to optimize daily work and support the technical-commercial team during the client proposal phase.
Work Experience
The ideal candidate possesses the following requirements:
* Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Energy, Management Engineering, or equivalent
* Knowledge and ability to understand/interprete technical drawings
* Familiarity with CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX) is considered a plus
* Knowledge of English for operation in a multinational environment
