PstrongTenuta Toscana /strong /ppbr/ppis searching for an /ppbr/ppstronguASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER /u /strong /ppbr/ppWe are seeking a passionate and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant, nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside at Tenuta Toscana, a new real estate development. /ppThe ideal candidate will embody elegance, professionalism, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, ensuring a refined and memorable dining experience for our discerning international clientele, while celebrating the authentic flavours and warmth of Tuscan cuisine. /ppThis position will report directly to the Restaurant Manager, collaborating closely to maintain the highest standards of service and operational efficiency. /ppbr/ppstrongMain duties and responsibilities /strong /ppbr/pulliManage and execute service within the assigned section to  Oversee the service delivery in the assigned section, ensuring a flawless, personalized, and memorable experience for each guest, adhering to the highest standards of hospitality and refinement. /liliUphold the service philosophy of emTenuta Toscana /em by providing tailored recommendations and anticipating guest preferences, offering proactive, intuitive service to exceed expectations. /liliCoordinate with the culinary team to ensure that each course is delivered at the perfect temperature and presented impeccably, creating a seamless flow between kitchen and dining room. /liliEnhance the guest experience by offering expert wine pairings and insight into local Tuscan wines, engaging guests in a sophisticated yet relaxed conversation about the origins and characteristics of the selections. /liliMaintain the elegance of the dining environment by ensuring immaculate table settings, proper lighting, and a harmonious atmosphere that reflects the brand’s luxurious identity. /liliLead by example, guiding junior team members and commis with professionalism and grace, ensuring adherence to service standards, operational efficiency, and harmonious teamwork. /liliMentor new staff, offering hands-on support and encouraging the development of service skills, product knowledge, and attentiveness to detail. /liliAssist in preparing shift schedules, adjusting staffing levels to meet operational demands, and ensuring optimal service during peak and off-peak hours. /liliEnsure the careful handling, maintenance, and proper use of all restaurant equipment, adhering to operational protocols and maintaining a pristine and well-organized environment. /liliFollow and enforce the HACCP guidelines and internal health and safety standards rigorously, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance and minimizing risks to both guests and staff. /liliDrive the financial performance of the restaurant by upselling signature dishes and wines, while also maintaining cost control through waste reduction and portion management. /liliFoster a collaborative environment by promoting a culture of respect, excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring a team-oriented approach to service. /liliExemplify professionalism and discretion in all guest interactions, consistently delivering superior service with attention to detail and a warm, welcoming demeanor. /liliPromote the values of emTenuta Toscana /em by upholding the highest ethical standards, ensuring that all guests are treated with respect and care, while fostering a team culture of mutual support and integrity. /liliMaintain the utmost confidentiality in all aspects of the role, including guest preferences, team matters, and any proprietary information regarding the operations of the resort and restaurant. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequirements /strong /ppbr/pulliMinimum of 3 years in a management role within a luxury hospitality or dining environment, preferably in a 5-star resort or hotel /liliA degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is appreciated /liliProven experience in leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional service in a high-pressure environment /liliA passion for providing superior guest experiences with an attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guests' needs /liliIn-depth understanding of dining and wine pairings. Experience with local Tuscan cuisine and wines is highly desirable /liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Italian. A third language would be considered a plus /liliAbility to handle challenging situations with a calm and professional demeanour, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times /liliExceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously /liliWillingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry /liliFamiliarity with restaurant management software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and general computer programs /liliImpeccable grooming and a professional appearance consistent with a luxury 5-star environment /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppstrongBenefits /strong /pulliFull-time contract in accordance with the Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) /liliMeals provided both during working hours and on days off /liliUniforms and laundry service provided /liliOngoing training to enhance personal and professional development /liliDiscounts on dining, wellness, and sports activities available at the resort and estate /liliAccommodation with free Wi-Fi can be arranged upon request for those coming from outside the area /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppThis research is addressed to candidates of both genders with reference to Italian Law 903/77 and Law 125/91. /ppThis position is based in Tuscany. Availability of staff accommodation upon request. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
