We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Product Manager - Marine Parts and Accessories. This position reports to Head of Product Management Marine EMEA and will work in Forli, Italy. /p h3Position /h3pAs a Product Manager - Marine Parts and Accessories in the Forli team, you will play a critical role as products/product portfolio owner for the growth and profitability. You will be responsible for product competitiveness, managing complexity by ensuring right strategic pricing between SKUs (Stock Keeping Units), managing product life cycle, proposing end-of-life, and driving modularization. /p h3Your Main Responsibilities /h3ul liMaintain a deep understanding of the markets, customer experience, needs, segmentation, and competitor offerings. /li liSupport product development prioritization based on input from the market. /li liDevelop end-to-end product business plan and identify needs for investment to ensure the right products are built right. /li liIdentify and fill product gaps and generate innovative ideas that grow market share. /li liSupport sales and marketing function in defining product positioning, USPs (Unique Selling Points), product branding, selling content and value-based selling. /li liDevelop strong working relationships with key partner customers. /li liDevelop and manage product vision white papers, roadmap, presentations, and formal business cases. /li liCreate buy-in for the product vision internally and externally with key partner customers. /li liConduct margin analysis, industry/market research, and in-life performance measurement to determine product demand, positioning, viability, and profitability. /li liAct as an internal voice of the customer for the development team. /li liDrive product launch priorities, including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members. /li liEvaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed. /li liAct as a product professional to build awareness and understanding. /li liRepresent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on products and services. /li liLook for field feedback and warranty information and drive for product continuous improvement. /li liPre-empt potential problems and provide effective solutions in reaction to the application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes developed to support the new product or product change. /li /ul h3What do we offer? /h3ul liMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance /li liCompany pension /li liHoliday (annual leave and bank holidays) /li liPaid maternity/paternity leave /li liFree on-site parking /li liOpportunities to make an impact /li /ul h3Background Qualifications /h3ul liA suitable background would be a solid experience within product management – as well as the following qualifications and experiences: /li liProven work experience in outboard and inboard engines and associate products. /li liProven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. /li liProven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. /li liProven track record of working with engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases from beginning to end. /li liSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience. /li /ul h3Skills, competencies characteristics /h3ul liStrong problem solving and decision-making abilities. /li liProven work experience in marine outboard or inboard engines and/or associate products automotive industrial. /li liWell-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks. /li liStrong proficiency with MS Office programs including: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint; and the ability to learn other applications quickly. /li liExcellent customer service, management skills and experience. /li liProficient at merchandising and promoting products to target markets. /li liAble to analyse target markets and develop forecasts based on this data. /li liSummarize data for a broader audience. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English. /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. /li /ul h3Core Values /h3pTo thrive and succeed in this role, you understand the importance of our core values – Together We build our future, We play to win, We embrace change and We walk the talk; these values reflect the heart and soul of Dometic and they define what it takes to work here and how we do things. /p h3Applications /h3pAre you our next star?
