Descrizione

Alectris is an international service provider for renewable assets focusing mainly in the European market. With offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, Milan, and South Italy, we manage activities across various countries in Europe and beyond. Our core focus is on operations and maintenance of renewable assets, complemented by engineering services and EPC mainly for photovoltaic plants and, to a lesser extent, wind farms.

Alectris is also active globally in the software sector with our proprietary ACTIS solar ERP for renewable assets.

The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. They will contribute to preparing and executing marketing and sales strategies alongside the CEO and team.

They will work closely with the O&M and Projects divisions, as well as the rest of the Business Development team, to participate in tenders, prepare offers, nurture leads from web inquiries and networks, and attend company events.

Occasionally, they will attend trade shows and events across Europe to promote our offerings.

Responsibilities

* Contribute to developing growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
* Research new markets and customer needs.
* Prepare and negotiate sales contracts.
* Prospect actively through cold calling and social selling.
* Respond to web-generated leads, nurturing them to close deals.
* Maintain relationships with existing and new clients for cross-selling and feedback collection.
* Gather competitive intelligence and prepare market analyses as needed.
* Maintain records of sales activities, revenue, and invoices using the company's CRM.
* Prepare responses to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
* Engage in customer interactions such as needs analysis, proposal writing, presentations, negotiations, and contract management.
* Handle invoicing and order processing.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and industry materials.
* Attend trade shows and conferences to promote our services.
* Engage with third parties like subcontractors for opportunity proposals.
* Report regularly to the CEO.

Qualifications

* Strong industry knowledge.
* Excellent command of English.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 3-4 years of relevant industry business development experience.
* Extensive experience in solar and renewables markets, understanding customer needs and challenges.
* Solid sales techniques and marketing principles knowledge.
* Sales and marketing training or qualifications.
* Motivated, proactive, and structured in approach.
* Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at technical and business levels.
* High integrity and professionalism.
* Effective time management and self-prioritization skills.
* Ability to set and pursue both short and long-term goals.
* Willingness to travel domestically for trade shows and client meetings.
