Job Summary:
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing and expanding the customer base for SANY's heavy lifting and crane products in the Italian market. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, mastering and demonstrating product features, preparing customer quotations, and achieving sales targets. Candidates with prior sales experience in heavy machinery or construction equipment are preferred, but motivated fresh graduates with strong learning ability and a passion for sales are also welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Development: Proactively identify and approach potential customers, establish and maintain strong business relationships, and convert leads into sales opportunities.
* Customer Base Expansion: Implement sales strategies to grow a robust client network across various industries, including construction, infrastructure, logistics, and industrial manufacturing.
* Product Knowledge & Application: Gain in-depth knowledge of SANY's heavy lifting and crane products (including all-terrain cranes, truck cranes, and crawler cranes), stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities.
* Product Demonstration & Technical Presentation: Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations to showcase the features, technical advantages, and benefits of SANY's crane solutions, tailoring content to meet specific customer requirements.
* Customer Quotations & Tender Participation: Prepare and deliver accurate, competitive, and timely customer quotations; support customers in tender processes when required.
* Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* CRM & Sales Pipeline Management: Efficiently use CRM systems to manage customer data, track sales activities, record interactions, generate reports, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales team, marketing department, product specialists, and after-sales service team to optimize sales strategies and ensure seamless customer experience.
* Customer Relationship & After-sales Support: Provide excellent customer service, promptly address any issues or concerns, coordinate with the service team for technical support, and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Sales Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in heavy machinery, construction equipment, industrial equipment, or related B2B industries.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with crane or heavy lifting products is a strong advantage.
* Language Skills: Fluent in Italian (native or business fluent) and English (business level). Chinese language capability is a plus but not mandatory.
* Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
* Self-motivated & Results-driven: Highly driven, able to work independently to achieve sales goals, and comfortable with field sales and customer visits.
