Trade Marketing Manager
Q36.5 S.r.l. | Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy | Full-Time
Reports to: Head of Marketing & E-Commerce
The Opportunity
Q36.5 is one of cycling's most technically ambitious apparel and footwear brands, built from a passion for performance, materials science, and the culture of the road. We design for riders who demand the absolute best, and we are entering a decisive phase of commercial growth across Europe and North America.
This role is the commercial heartbeat of our brand at the point of sale. You will own trade marketing globally, with immediate focus on Europe and a planned expansion into North America from 2027, ensuring every retail and e-tail partner presents Q36.5 at its full potential. You will drive sell-through, build brand awareness, and elevate the education and activation capability of our global partner network.
If you are energized by being at the intersection of brand, product, and commerce, by building programs that measurably move the needle, and by working within an authentic cycling brand that lives what it sells, this is your seat.
Scope and Mission
The Trade Marketing Manager defines and executes the B2B marketing strategy in full alignment with the brand and commercial strategy. Scope is global, with initial priority on European accounts and a planned expansion into North America beginning in 2027. Core mission pillars:
• Drive sell-through at all active retail and e-tail touchpoints
• Build brand awareness and desirability at the point of purchase
• Elevate retail partner education, product knowledge, and selling confidence
• Deliver a consistent, premium in-store and online brand experience
• Coordinate all trade-facing product launches, campaigns, and events
Key Responsibilities
Sell-Through and Partner Activation
• Design and execute seasonal sell-through programs for offline and online partners, including promotional windows and clearance strategies
• Own the Q36.5 shop-in-shop program from a marketing execution standpoint: fixture standards, visual merchandising, and seasonal refresh
• Develop co-marketing initiatives with key accounts to drive traffic, conversion, and basket size
• Monitor partner sell-through performance and activate remedies proactively
Brand Awareness and Point-of-Sale Excellence
• Define and maintain global POS standards for offline and digital environments across all account tiers
• Coordinate production and deployment of all POS materials in alignment with the sales team rollout plan
• Lead brand presence at trade and consumer shows (Eurobike, CyclingWorld, Sea Otter, and others)
• Ensure full B2B channel alignment with all consumer-facing campaign communications
Retail Education
• Build and maintain a scalable retail education program covering product knowledge, brand story, and in-store selling techniques
• Develop digital training tools accessible to partner teams globally: video, e-learning modules, and product guides
• Coordinate seasonal product launch briefings with retail partners, ensuring readiness at the launch date
Planning, Reporting, and Budget
• Own the trade marketing calendar, aligning all activations with the commercial season plan
• Own the trade marketing budget with full accountability for spend versus plan
• Report KPI performance, budget status, and opportunities to the Head of Marketing and CCO on a regular basis
Who We Are Looking For
Experience
• 5 or more years in trade marketing, field marketing, or commercial activation within premium consumer goods, sporting goods, or cycling apparel
• Demonstrable track record driving sell-through and managing retail partner programs
• Experience with shop-in-shop or concession retail formats is a strong plus
• Exposure to both European and ideally North American retail environments
Skills
• Sharp commercial instinct with genuine passion for brand and aesthetics
• Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple activations simultaneously across markets
• Data-literate: comfortable building performance dashboards and translating sell-through data into action
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder across cultures and account types
• Fluency in English required; Italian or German is a strong advantage
Character
• You are a rider or deeply embedded in cycling culture. You understand what moves our customer.
• Autonomous, direct, and accountable. You deliver what you commit to.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where structure is still being built.
