Transformer Components Business Developer

We are seeking an experienced professional to promote our Transformer Measuring and Safety Devices product portfolio, including non-condenser core bushings and de-energized tap changers. The ideal candidate will handle sales, marketing, and business development for products manufactured in Turkey and the USA. This role can be based in Spain, Italy, or Poland, primarily focusing on Distribution Transformer OEMs and Product Distributors in Europe.
Your Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Territory Sales and Marketing managers to promote Measuring and Safety Devices, non-condenser bushings, and de-energized tap changers (DETC) within Europe. Responsible for achieving sales targets.
* Coordinate with factories in Turkey and the USA to provide quotations and technical support, managing product customization projects.
* Conduct technical training sessions for OEMs, EPCs, utilities, and distributors.
* Support promotional marketing events across Europe and ensure the availability of product samples.
* Work with utilities to homologate and approve the product portfolio, and clarify tender specifications.
* Provide market intelligence to supply factories and the Global Product Group.
* Support business activities between component supply factories and Hitachi Energy Transformer Units in Europe.
* Collaborate with Hitachi Energy Service and third-party service providers on service projects.
* Create synergies among all I&C supply factories to increase sales volumes per project.
* Willingness to travel within Europe for business trips (up to 50%).
Your Background
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with additional qualifications in Business Administration.
* Over 5 years of experience in technical sales and marketing within similar product portfolios.
* Market knowledge of distribution and power transformers.
* Experience in business development, account management, and cross-selling across systems and solutions.
* Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management, and legal terms.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills. Customer-focused mindset and ability to establish long-term relationships.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
* Fluent in English; additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, German, or Polish are advantageous.
