What you'll work on
Shape the Vision
Define and manage the roadmap for key hardware products across multiple market segments (Education, Maker, Professional) in alignment with company priorities
Identify new product opportunities through market research, user insights, and competitive analysis
Turn ideas into actionable product strategies, aligned with Arduino's mission and user needs
Drive Development
Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure feasibility
Oversee development and industrialization, ensuring consistency with cost, timeline, and quality targets
Coordinate with supply chain and operations for prototypes, pre-series, and production ramp-up
Ensure that documentation and compliance standards are met for all launches
Collaborate with content and support teams to develop key materials, including getting started guides, tutorials, and example projects
Prepare for Go-to-Market and Launch
Ideate and lead validation, field testing, and early access programs to gather feedback and fine-tune the product
Work with marketing and sales to build product messaging, materials, and training
Contribute to pricing and positioning strategies to ensure differentiation and market fit
Align all teams involved to ensure operational readiness at launch
Own the Lifecycle
Monitor product performance using customer feedback, usage data, and business KPIs
Identify improvements, enhancements, and opportunities for iteration or versioning
Support lifecycle decisions, including margin reviews, pricing updates, and end-of-life planning
What you bring
3 to 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in electronic and embedded systems
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of hardware development processes, from prototyping to mass production
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, marketing, and sales
Strong grasp of product lifecycle management, including roadmap definition, product requirements, and release planning
Comfortable in leveraging data and user insights to guide prioritization, pricing, and performance evaluation
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a proactive attitude toward driving product success
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.
Bonus Points
Previous experience in managing single board computers or hardware development kits' product portfolio
Experience working with open-source hardware or software projects
Familiarity with Arduino products, including the use of Arduino IDE, libraries, and toolchains
Ability to write or review technical content, such as getting started guides, datasheets, or tutorials
Experience with electronic design tools, including KiCad or Altium
Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to dive into new and unfamiliar topics
