/p h3Senior Business Development Manager – EMEA /h3 pChemours is seeking a bSenior Business Development Manager /b to join our bEMEA Marketing and Business Development team /b, reporting directly to the bEMEA Strategy and Market Development Lead /b.
This position is based in Italy, with a remote working setup and extensive travel across Italy and the wider EMEA region.
/p pIn this role, you will lead business development activities across the Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration and broader HVACR / thermal management market, with a strong focus on expanding the OpteonTM portfolio.
You will identify new growth opportunities, develop value propositions, and strengthen Chemours' position across key segments of the value chain.
/p h3The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: /h3 h3Market expertise and opportunity development /h3 ul liBuild deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments, and value-chain dynamics across industrial refrigeration, HVACR, and thermal management.
/li liIdentify new applications, partnerships, and commercial opportunities, particularly related to low-GWP and energy-efficient solutions.
/li liAble to identify relevant customer pain points and develop compelling value propositions tailored to OEMs, end users, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
/li /ul h3Strategic relationship building /h3 ul liEngage senior stakeholders to understand their long-term strategies and align Chemours solutions with their business roadmaps.
/li liLeverage an existing professional network and rapidly identify new decision-makers and influencers where required.
/li liEstablish and maintain strong relationships across technical, regulatory, commercial, RD, and operational functions.
/li /ul h3Commercial impact and market activation /h3 ul liDrive measurable growth through field engagement, seminars, case studies, and targeted marketing initiatives.
/li liGenerate and qualify new opportunities, track conversion, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth.
/li liProvide market insights to support strategic planning, product development, and emerging business models.
/li /ul h3The Following Is Required For This Role /h3 ul liUniversity degree (Bachelor level or higher), preferably in Engineering; MBA is a plus.
/li liMinimum 10 years of sales and business development experience in B2B environments such as chemicals, commercial refrigeration, cold storage, food retail, or heat pump industries.
/li liStrong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with a consultative and customer-focused mindset.
/li liFluent in Italian and English; additional European languages are an advantage.
/li liWillingness to travel up to 50% of the time across the EMEA region.
/li /ul h3The Following Is Preferred For This Role /h3 ul liExperience leading business development initiatives in technical or regulated markets.
/li liPossess a strong understanding of the HVAC-R industry and an extensive professional network in the space.
/li liDemonstrated project-management skills and strong business acumen.
/li liExperience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
/li liCommitment to safety, ethics, and compliance with internal control processes.
/li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liCompetitive compensation – the fixed salary component will be around €80,000-€87,000 per year including 13th month, excluding an 11% bonus opportunity.
The exact package depends on the person's experience, knowledge and skills.
