Transimeksa is a leading Lithuanian logistics group with 11 branches across Europe, specializing in full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) road transportation services. With a strong focus on intermodal logistics, the company's 1,200 trailer fleet, including standard, mega, and box types, ensures secure and efficient delivery — even to the last mile. Transimeksa handles diverse freight, such as automotive, high-tech electronics, parcels, hazardous materials, and oversized cargo. Beyond transportation, it offers comprehensive logistics solutions, including 3PL services, warehousing, and customs brokerage, ensuring a seamless supply chain.We are seeking a motivated Freight Forwarding & Sales Specialist with proven experience in road transport to join our Italian Domestic Department in Turin. This role combines operational logistics, carrier management, and new client acquisition, offering the opportunity to contribute to a growing and dynamic logistics team.We welcome applications from candidates with experience in either sales or freight forwarding, or both.Key Responsibilities

Manage relationships with trucking companies (road carriers) and coordinate loads from our domestic customers.Identify and develop relationships with new clients to expand the customer base.Source and negotiate carriers for dedicated fleet assignments and spot loads.Identify and secure additional loads when gaps occur in carrier schedules.Monitor carrier performance and optimize transport costs while maintaining service quality.Ensure full compliance with domestic and international road transport regulations.Maintain accurate documentation of loads, contracts, and transport orders.Collaborate closely with operations, planning, and logistics teams to optimize workflow.Provide problem‐solving support for unexpected issues in freight scheduling or carrier availability.

Requirements

Proven experience in road transport operations and freight forwarding.Experience in sales, client acquisition, or business development is a strong plus.Strong understanding of domestic logistics processes, transport regulations, and carrier management.Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail and a customer‐oriented mindset.
